Our Mission
Our mission is to collect used baseball equipment and ship it and distribute it to needy children in the Dominican Republic. Equipment of any kind, including balls, gloves, bats, sportswear, caps, or shoes can be mailed to us for distribution throughout the Dominican Republic.

Why Do We Do This?
When traveling in the Dominican Republic, one notices two things - that Dominicans really love the game of baseball, and that the kids have virtually no equipment with which to play the game. Everywhere you go you see kids playing with sticks for bats, balls of twine for baseballs, and milk cartons fashioned into gloves. With all the used baseball equipment in the United States sitting idle in garages or basements, as well as in sports groups both professional and amateur, we started this organization to help collect and distribute used equipment where it will be appreciated and loved!

How Is The Equipment Distributed?
By hand! We go around to different parts of the country, by car and on foot, and we hand out the equipment directly to those in need - there is no middle man involved! We target local community based groups and baseball teams in various towns, and get the equipment directly into kids hands. As we continue to grow, we hope to start distributing equipment to local community groups and aid organizations, who can in turn distribute the equipment more equitably. But the fact is, the equipment that you donate will go directly into a needy and very grateful young persons hand!
